Services connects a client organization with an onboarded freelancer or agency for research work. Client access is limited to enabled pilot organizations; provider access requires membership in an onboarded service-provider organization. These controls are not available in every account.

Request support as a client

  1. Open Services and start a request.
  2. Review and accept the current marketplace terms when prompted.
  3. Describe the work, optionally link an existing study, and provide a preferred completion date.
  4. Choose a freelancer, agency, or let Conveo select the provider type.
  5. Include an optional brief link or upload a PDF, Word, Markdown, or text file, up to 20 MB.
  6. Submit the request and review its status and quotes under Requests.
A requested date is not a guaranteed delivery date. Review the partner’s proposal and scope before accepting. A request can initially exist without a study; that does not automatically create a study or grant access to one.

Review a quote and its cost

Only someone with write access to the applicable billing account can accept a quote. Review the displayed client total, proposal, and linked study. Acceptance checks available credits and current terms, closes the competing quotes for the request, and commits the selected engagement. For credit-billed work, acceptance charges the displayed total to the linked study’s billing account, or the organization’s default account when appropriate. Work covered by the study’s contract is recorded as covered instead of deducting credits. Linking a study later does not retrospectively rebill an earlier charge. Reject an unsuitable quote with a reason. You can cancel a request before acceptance. After a quote has been accepted, contact Conveo for cancellation; the ordinary client cancellation action cannot undo the engagement or issue a refund.

Understand partner access

When an accepted engagement has a linked study, the provider organization receives editing access to that study. Provider organization members can work in the client study through the service relationship. This is access to the study, not just permission to download the brief. Settling the work does not automatically remove that study access. Cancellation through the administrative workflow revokes the engagement’s access grant. Consider the study’s content before accepting a partner and contact Conveo when the engagement’s access should change.

Complete and settle the work

The provider submits delivery and a final price. If the final price equals the quote, the engagement settles directly. A different final price requires the client’s review; a higher price must include an explanation. Review the final amount and either approve it or send it back with a reason. Final-cost approval also requires billing-account write access. Approval can produce an additional credit charge or a refund for the difference. A higher charge requires sufficient balance. Check the settled state before assuming a final-price adjustment has completed.

Work as an onboarded provider

Switch to the provider organization and open Service portal. Complete the required enrollment and terms steps; new terms can require renewed acceptance before continuing. Review requests assigned to your organization, submit a priced proposal or decline, and wait for acceptance before starting. An accepted request can provide access to its linked client study. Where the request has no study, use the offered create-study workflow when the work requires one. Submit delivery with the final price and relevant notes, and respond to any client request to revise that final amount. The portal shows your organization’s assigned work. Provider enrollment does not make all client studies accessible, and a disabled provider cannot receive new dispatches even if historical portal records remain available.
